Do you want to get to know the real LA?

For longer than I’d like to admit I thought you had to leave town to find nature and adventure. Also, I was not very confident in my hiking or backpacking skills which limited how often I would go explore a new area. Additionally I didn’t haven’t many friends who enjoyed hiking in town… so I was pretty stuck to only “seeing nature” on roadtrips out of town that I would go on with my husband.

What if I told you there was one class that changed all that for me?

It’s the Sierra Club Wilderness Training Course @sierraclubangeles @scwtc and registration for their 2026 course just opened up! I’ll be sharing a few posts about what this class was like and where it has taken me to and how it helped me deepen my relationship with nature in Los Angeles too.
